  4. Hi! Is translation of Volume 4 special booklet (the one with various countries dressed in their national clothes) avaiable anywhere? If not, are you guys planning to translate it? Also, I noticed that someone asked about Ukraine's "badass moments" - In "Lithuania's Out-Sourcing," it is mentioned that Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was weakened by war with Ukraine - probably Khmelnytsky Uprising. Thank you in advance!

I’m so sorry! I was busy with work and I totally forgot about this ask!

You can find that booklet on the hetavols tumblr blog! :3

I’m not sure if the Lithuania’s Out-Sourcing mention is related to the original question, as it seems like “badass moments” is a specific phrase… but it definitely is an interesting bit of history.

  5. hetaliaarchives:

Gentosha has released the cover for Hetalia: Axis Powers Speciale 1, which collects the contents of Volumes 1 and 2 of the manga series. Unlike the original volumes which come in size A5, the Speciale volumes come in size B6. Animega stores, some Bunkyodo stores, and the Animate website will be including special limited edition illustration cards with purchase. Stores distributing them are listed on the Gentosha website.
Speciale 1 will be released in Japan on August 23, 2014.

  8. is Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov a canon character? does she ever show up in the manga/web comic or is she an oc? thanks!

A while back I came up with a fairly complete list of historical characters in Hetalia. I did not come across any mention of Anastasia in my searches, unless I missed something. I’m pretty sure I would have remembered her though.

If she’s supposed to be Anastasia Romanov as in the daughter of the Tzar killed in the Russian Revolution, then she was a real person (Interestingly, it wasn’t her the survived the assassination but her brother, the one with hemophelia the family had hired Rasputin to help)

Sorry, yes. Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov was a real person, but has not appeared in canon Hetalia. The use of OC is confusing, but I’m guessing she has probably turned up in fanworks and that’s what’s being questioned.

ask replies sorry I should've addressed that thank you!

  10. (i had a tech problem so trying this again) Where was it stated that Ukraine has had her "badass moments" when she was younger?
    -by Anonymous

It was stated in one of her profiles that she’ll stand her ground, but I can’t seem to find anything mentioning her having “badass moments” when she was young. I didn’t search too thoroughly, so it’s possible I missed something, but I don’t even see a mention of it on her wiki page, so I’m wondering where you heard it myself.
